A conduit system includes a plurality of first conduits A, B having a set of substantially parallel ends, a plurality of second conduits C, D, E and F having a set of ends which are substantially parallel to one another and to the ends of the first conduits and means for connecting any one of the ends of the first conduits to any one of the ends of the second conduits and for simultaneously connecting one or more of the other ends of the first conduits to one or more ends of the second conduits, that means including a tubular coupling unit extending between each first conduit end and a second conduit end. Each coupling unit includes first and second rigid members a, b and c, d, e and f, each having substantially parallel offset ends and connecting means between the various adjacent ends providing for adjustment of the positions of each tubular member relatively to an adjacent connected part so as to provide for selective connection of the first conduits to the second conduits, the ends of the first conduits being so located that circles, concentric with the centres of the ends of the first conduits and having radii equal to the offset lengths of the associated tubular units, overlap one another and define an area in which the ends of the second conduits are located. As shown, the coupling members a, b &c. are coupled to the respective pipes by swivel joints 17 of a conventional construction, and the free ends of the members a, b are equipped with coupling fittings 21 for connection of those ends to the members c, d, e and f.
