Abstract

956,612. Welding by fusion. GEBR. BOHLER & CO. A.G. Sept. 29, 1961 [Nov. 30, 1960], No. 35114/61. Heading B3R. A wire for use in welding steel consists of a core coated with brass consisting of at least 90% alpha brass. The brass may contain 60% copper and 40% zinc. Welding may be carried out in a shielding gas containing one or more of argon, helium or carbon dioxide and in addition, if desired, oxygen. Specifications 329,572, 667,369 and 832,460 are referred to.
