Abstract

954,624. Dynamo-electric machine coils. SIEMENS & HALSKE A.G. March 5, 1963 [March 6, 1962], No.8675/63. Heading H2A. In a dynamo-electric machine as claimed in the parent Specification, wherein the armature winding 4 is an open-ended cylinder supported at each end by an insulating member that is spaced from the corresponding end of the magnet 5 and is coaxially rotatable relatively thereto, the winding consists of a single wire. The wire is wound obliquely about the axis to form a zig-zag pattern and extends to a collector 2. The members may be insulating discs 3 secured to the shaft 1 and one or both of which are cemented to the cylinder.
