Abstract

954,260. Transistor bi-stable circuits. ROCHAR ELECTRONIQUE. Dec. 14, 1961 [Dec. 21, 1960], No. 44791/61. Heading H3T. In a bi-stable trigger circuit comprising reciprocally coupled transistors 1, 2, the base potentials of the two transistors are held close to a constant value by means of diodes 12, 13, 14, 15 and 19, and a common emitter resistor 16 is chosen so large in comparison with collector resistors 9, 10 that the current through whichever transistor is conducting is limited thereby without that transistor saturating. As a result the switching speed of the circuit is improved. Switching pulses are applied at terminal 11, the diodes 13, 15 serving also as a steering circuit.
