953,924. Moulding flat plastic sheet materials. THERMO PLASTICS Ltd. June 14, 1962 [June 16, 1961; Oct. 12, 1961], Nos. 21757/61 and 36583/61. Heading B5A. In a method of moulding plastic sheet materials a sheet of polyvinyl chloride is formed on to a male mould, after which a spaced female mould is fitted round the formed article whilst still on the mould, and a thermosetting resin containing a foaming agent is introduced into the space between the female mould and the male article and is shaped round the formed article. The thermosetting resin is hardened and foamed by using the heat of the article which is formed on to the male mould by either pressure or vacuum and heat.
