Abstract

950,534. Gas cooking stove hot plates. SIDNEY FLAVEL & CO. Ltd. Sept. 20,1962 [Sept. 26, 1961], No. 34365/61. Heading F4W. Cooking utensils are supported on the hot plate of a cooking stove by a number of elongated U-shape members, Fig. 1, of heat resisting rod or wire having pegs 13 formed at the free ends of the limbs. The pegs 13 enter holes formed in the raised sides of the hot plate, or in a removable bar 15, and the closed end 12 of the U rests on the sides 16 of the hot plate or on the removable bar 15. The holes for the pegs 13 are preferably at a slightly greater distance apart than the free spacing between the prongs so that the supports are resiliently connected to the hot plate.
