947,343. Handrails; railings. BROADS MANUFACTURING CO. Ltd. July 20, 1962 [July 21, 1961], No. 26626/61. Headings E1B and E1V. Tubular handrailing I releasably secured by means of spigots 4 between short pieces of tube 3 welded to posts 2, is assembled by sliding each spigot into a tube 3 using a tommy-bar inserted into holes 8 in the spigot. A slot 9 in each tube 3 allows the insertion of the bar and a grub screw 6 holds the spigot in position when the railing is assembled. A groove 10 in the spigot receives this screw when the spigot is slid into the tube 3.
