Abstract

947,107. Transistor switching circuits. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. Ltd. Oct. 19, 1962 [Nov. 23, 1961], No. 41936/61. Heading H3T. [Also in Division G1] A circuit for indicating whether an electric current at 3 is above or below a predetermined range, comprises a transistor amplifier 5 feeding one winding of a two winding relay 6, the other winding being energized in opposition by a preset current. The relay contacts 7 make to provide an indication when the current is outside its limits or when there is an open circuit or short circuit failure of any transistor in the amplifier or of either winding of the relay. A Zener diode 22 is connected between the supply lines 9, 15.
