[Also in Divisions E1 and F4] Means for mounting a container for a material having a temperature differing widely from ambient temperature within a supporting structure in a ship in a manner to stabilize the position of the container within the supporting structure while permitting free expansion and contraction due to temperature change, comprises a flooring 42 forming part of the supporting structure, an elongated key member 44 extending upwardly from the flooring and lengthwise of the container, a pair of elongated members 52, 54 (having upright portions 56 (Fig. 4)) on the bottom 28 of the container forming a keyway 50 to slidably receive the key member (the key member in Fig. 7 has rupturable loadbearing side panels 66) (Fig. 6, not shown), and a spacer 58 (shown in Fig. 4) having a thickness which prevents the key engaging the bottom of the container and the keyway engaging the surface of the flooring.
