943,459. Air filters. H. LUHR. Aug. 8, 1962, No. 30376/62. Heading BIT. Each of a plurality of inward flow flat rectangular air filter units in parallel comprises a frame 4, Fig. 2, over which is stretched sheet filter medium 5 so as to cover all but one narrow vertical side 3 of the frame 4 which has a filtered air exhaust slot 2a in register with a slot 2 in a vertical supporting wall 1 and the edge of the filter material adjacent the outlet 2a is beaded at 5a and is clamped against the wall by a U-section vertical rail located between adjacent units and having vertical slots 9 -bearing on cam surfaces 8, Fig. 1, of hooks 7 secured to the wall 1.
