Abstract

1485783 Air vent filter LUWA AG 19 Sept 1974 [21 Sept 1973] 40947/74 Heading BIT An air vent comprises walls 1 defining an air passage, a support 5 on the walls to support a filter plate 3 (or a plurality of plates in series), a plurality of "L" shaped leaf springs 9 to press the filter plate 3 against support 5 and a seal 11 around the filter plate 3 to seal the space between the edges of filter plate and the walls of the passage. A resilient intermediate layer may be interposed between filter plate 3 and support 5. The "seal" at the edges of the filter plate may be permanently resilient or permanently plastic.
