943,040. Automatic heating systems. ERNEST SCRAGG & SONS Ltd. March 30,1962 [March 9, 1960], No. 8602/61. Addition to 915,138. Heading G3R. A plurality of heaters 11 each having a temperature sensitive resistor 12 and a controller associated therewith has a common control device e.g. comprising a D.C. fed potentiometer 17 acting to adjust a common reference point. Each resistor 12 is serially connected to another resistor (not shown) to form with the potentiometer 17 the arms of a bridge network with a transistor amplifier 13 connected across one diagonal which controls the saturation of a transductor 14.
