Abstract
942,017. Railway vehicle buffers. VSESOJUZNY NAUCHNO-ISSLEDOVATELSKY INSTITUT ZHELZNODOROZHNOGO TRANSPORTA. Aug. 31, 1962, No. 33567/62. Heading B7T. A buffer comprises three wedges 2 which on compression frictionally engage the casing 1, telescoping hydraulic pneumatic cylinders 8, 10, the cylinder 10 containing a piston 11 which may be moved to the right by metered fluid flow against compressed air or gas, a compression spring 4, and nuts 12 and resilient washers 13 which hold the buffer together.
Protection device against overloading of the constant pressure control chamber and the brake cylinder when the auxiliary air reservoir is overloaded in compressed air braking devices with three-pressure control valve, especially for rail vehicles
