Abstract

941,264. Agricultural implements. ROBOT AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY CO. Ltd. March 3, 1960 [Dec. 8, 1958], No. 39534/58. Heading A1D. A furrow opening device for a potato planting machine comprises a main share 10 for drawing a drill to receive potatoes and a second share 11 formed with two members 12 arranged to draw V-shaped drills parallel to and deeper than the main drill the members 12 being formed with channels 16 to convey fertiliser to the V-shaped drills. The second share is fixed by bolts 18 to the main share and may be removed, a cutter 19 bolted on the share 11 may then be bolted on the leading edge of share 10.
