Abstract
A nickel base alloy of the parent Specification containing chromium and cobalt and with a "Mo-Ti-Al" factor of less than 16, is solution-treated, e.g. in the form of sheet, or extrusion or a forging, at between 1180 and 1200 DEG C. for three to six minutes, preferably followed by ageing at 800 to 820 DEG C. for three to four or eight hours.
