In a domestic coal bin having an outlet 14 at the bottom of one end wall 10, the side walls 12 have inwardly and downwardly sloping portions 12a above the level of the outlet 14, and similarly sloping deflectors 13 are provided on either end wall. The bin is constructed from pre-cast concrete sections.
