Air is treated by being drawn through a conduit 1 having an inlet 2 and outlet 3 by a fan 6 and by passing over an ozone generator 4 with transformer 5 and then passing through a heatexchanger 7 where it is cooled. It is stated that the length of the duct 1 is such that the ozone generated is completely disintegrated into oxygen before passing through outlet 3.
