Abstract

939,986. Undergarments. STEDMAN MANUFACTURING CO. Jan. 4, 1962 [Jan. 4, 1961], No. 417/62. Class 141. A man's brief is provided with a knitted cotton gusset portion 13 and a knitted fabric pouch bounded by an arcuate elastic tape 9 and supported by inelastic vertical tapes 10, 11, 12. The pouch portion may be formed from cloth covered rubber fibres in which case an inelastic strip is also provided between the pouch and gusset portion 13, to prevent the fibres unravelling.
