Abstract
934,589. Packaging. SOC. PARISIENNE POUR L'INDUSTRIE ELECTRIQUE. Sept. 11, 1961 [Sept. 12, 1960], No. 32518/61. Class 94(1). Apparatus for packaging angle iron, comprises facing metal supports 1, 11 arranged to receive between them identical angle irons drilled or pierced at their extremities, certain of the angle irons being attached to the sheets by bolts. The lowermost angle irons are attached to lugs 11-14 on the supports 1, 1<SP>1</SP> by bolts through holes adjacent these ends. Further angle irons are deposited on the lower group with the interposition, at intervals, of spacing blocks 25, 26, generally formed of small slabs of wood connected by straps. The upper layer of angle irons is bolted to or located by separate brackets 23- 27 bolted to the supports. Vertical wooden laths 21, 22 may be placed between the stacks to prevent damage during transport. Steel wire may be passed througl holes in the angle irons to hold the assembly vertical. Flanges 29 may facilitate transpor by sling hooks.
