934,392. Injection moulding machines. A. HEHL, K. HEHL, and E. HEHL, [trading as ARBURG FEINGERAETEFABRIK O. H. G. HEHL & SOEHNE]. March 23, 1962 [June 9, 1961], No. 11163/62. Class 87(2). A feed hopper 17 for an injection moulding machine is rotatably mounted (about an axis a-a) so that the injection cylinder 2 can be used in a horizontal, vertical or inclined position. The hopper 17 is substantially triangular or trapezium shaped in section and is removably attached to the machine by a union nut 5<SP>1</SP>. Material in the hopper is fed by gravity to the cylinder 2 through an obliquely disposed shoot 19. The cylinder 2 may be carried by struts pivotally mounted in the machine frame, Fig. 2 (not shown).
