[Also in Group V] Three-ply laminates are fabricated from layers of adhesive bonded wood shavings having a thickness of from 0.005 to 0.030 inch, a length of from 0.5 to 4.0 inches and a width of from 0.03 to 1.0 inch or splinters from “ to ¥ inch long and from <SP>1</SP>/ 64 to # inch thick, in which the particles of all three layers are oriented in one direction, Fig. 11, or particles of the middle layer are either oriented perpendicular to those in the outer boards, Fig. 14, or of random configuration, Fig. 12. The layers are glued together. Specification 824,146 and U.S.A. Specification 2,854,372 are referred to.
