Abstract

932,236. Windscreen wipers. -TRICO-FOLBERTH Ltd. Sept. 10, 1959 [Sept. 12, 1958; Feb. 2, 1959], Nos. 29289/58 and 3623/59. Class 138 (1). A windscreen wiper blade is provided with undulations at longitudinally spaced ribs on surfaces facing away from the windscreen and/or in the direction of movement of the blade. A blade having two lips 14, Fig. 1, has ribs 16 extending transversely across its rear surface and partly across its sides. In alternative embodiments ribs 36, 34, Fig. 4, are formed on the rear faces of flanges 29 of a blade having a single wiping lip 26, and rounded ribs 40, Fig. 5, or undulating surfaces (not shown) are formed on a further construction of blade having a single wiping lip.
