Abstract
931,864. Electric analogue computers. GENERAL PRECISION Inc. Aug. 7, 1959 [Aug. 15, 1958], No. 27104/59. Class 37. [Also in Group XL (c)] In a limiter circuit of the type in which the signal is applied to the bases of oppositely conductivity type transistors T-1, T-2 having a common emitter output terminal Vo and in which limiting is effected at the potentials of the collector electrodes, a feedback impedance is connected between output and input. This impedance may be a resistance (as shown) or a capacitive or mixed impedance so as to cause the circuit to integrate or provide another function. The circuit shown is a two quadrant multiplier in which one input signal Vx is applied to the input terminals together with a triangular voltage from a generator 20, while the other signal is supplied as oppositely varying voltages Vy to the collector electrodes to determine the limiting level.
