Abstract
A smoke/gas exhausting and purifying device comprises a wide area gas collector 10 and a gas discharging means. The gas collector is disposed near a position where unwanted smoke or gas is produced, and the gas is discharged at high pressure. Pump 13 is used to collect and compress the gas and to discharge it directly into the water contained in a water tank 14 or a sewer (20A in Fig. 3), or guide the gas flow first through a filtering means (18 in Fig. 4). <IMAGE>
