Abstract

931,460. Couplings between relatively movable conducting parts. MASCHINENFABRIK STROMAG G.m.b.H. April 14, 1961, No. 13605/61. Class 38 (1). In a bus-bar channel 1 having a slot 2 in a side wall through which projects a trolley arm 3 on a machine such as a travelling crane requiring power from the bus-bars, the slot is normally closed by a series of plates 8 hinged together at 9 so as to be raised by the trolley arm as it passes. The upper edges of the plates are guided in a groove 6 in the wall of the channel and the arm 3 carries lifting rollers 10 which bear against the plates.
