Abstract

1,159,189. Conduits. WALTER BARR PTY. Ltd. 9 Aug., 1967 [10 Feb., 1967], No. 36636/67. Heading H2C. [Also in Division E1] A duct comprises a backing plate 9 for attachment to a building wall 10, continuous cable supports 11, 12, a continuous screw receptacle 14 extending the length of the plate and provision 18, 19, for receiving a snap-on plate 20. Power outlets 35 or telephone outlets (Fig. 4, not shown), may be fitted in holes in the coverplate. Sections (25) (Fig. 6, not shown), 26, 27 are used for joining plates 20. The plates 9, 20 may be plastics extrusions.
