Abstract

931,134. Clamps. LIONWELD Ltd. Oct. 29, 1959 [July 29, 1958], No. 24474/58. Class 44. A clamp for securing to a support a section of floor structure having a number of interconnected floor members 3 forming or carrying a tread surface, comprises a first member 1 which engages over a member 3, a second member 2 which at one end engages against or underneath a support 9 and at its other end engages under the floor member 3, and clamping means 5 for tightening the members together, one member having a guide element 4, in the form of a tongue which passes through an opening in the other member which serves to limit angular relative movement of the members. The generally U-shaped member 2 may have its limbs 11 bent outwardly to accommodate a larger flange 9a, or its sharp ends 11 may engage a flange. A nut 6 may be formed integral with member 2.
