Abstract

931,124. Counters. NOBEL-BOZEL. Jan. 23, 1962 [April 24, 1961], No. 2479/62. Class 106 (1). [Also in Group XXX] Ferro-alloy briquettes are dispensed from a hopper 1 into a container (not shown) via a vibrating shoot having three sections 5, 6, 7 of respective progressively increasing slope and a recessed drum 3. The briquettes are reduced to a single layer by the vibrations and are then diverted into separate channels. Recesses 11 in the drum 3 are staggered so that only one briquette is delivered at a time. The briquettes are counted by photo-electric means 4.
