930,903. Resiliently mounted seats. F. BREMSHEY, and W. FULLING. May 2, 1962 [June 16, 1961], No. 16888/62. Addition to 918,114. Classes 52 (1) and 52 (2). The spring arrangement of the vehicle seat of the parent Specification is modified by having a bell crank lever 8, 9 situated beneath the seat frame one arm of this lever being acted upon by a spring 18 in a substantially horizontal direction. As shown there are two lever arms 8 the edges 24 of which make contact with rollers 23 on the front pair of guide rods 3. The edges 24 may be straight or curved. The angle between the arms 8, 9 of each bell crank lever is so arranged that the effective length a of the moment arm of the lever 9 increases as the bell crank levers rotate in an anticlockwise sense. A handle 21 is provided to adjust the equilibrium height of the unloaded seat.
