Abstract
Ectoparasiticidal compositions comprise a phosphoric acid ester of the 7-hydroxy-coumarin series of the general formula <FORM:0929716/VI/1> in which R is an alkyl radical containing up to 4 carbon atoms, R1 and R2 are hydrogen or halogen atoms or alkyl radicals containing up to 4 carbon atoms and X is oxygen or sulphur, e.g. the o,o-diethyl-thiophosphoric acid ester of 3 - chloro - 4 - methyl - 7 - hydroxy - coumarin in admixture with a phosphoric acid ester of the 4-alkyl-mercapto-alkyl or halo phenol series of the general formula <FORM:0929716/VI/2> n which R3 and R5 are alkyl radicals containing up to 4 carbon atoms, R4 is an alkyl radical containing up to 4 carbon atoms or a halogen atom, X is oxygen or sulphur and Y is OR3 or NHR3, e.g. O - methyl - N - methyl - O - (4 - methyl-mercapto - 3 - methyl - phenyl) - phosphoramidothionate or in admixture with a carbamate of the (alkyl-phenyl)-N-methyl-carbamate series of the general formula <FORM:0929716/VI/3> in which R6 is an alkyl radical containing up to 4 carbon atoms and R7 is a hydrogen or chlorine atom or an alkyl group containing up to 4 carbon atoms, e.g. (4,5-dimethylphenyl)-N-methyl-carbamate. The compositions are used as sprays containing a dispersing agent, kaolin and water.
