[Also in Group XXIX] A tap or faucet for use with barrels comprises a rotary cylindrical plug member 10 whose seating surface is formed by a polythene sleeve 16 retained on the plug by a plurality of lengthwise extending ribs on the plug. A sealing ring 20 is provided on the plug, which plug is retained in the housing by a nut 21. The nut may be threaded externally to engage the housing.
