Abstract

928,709. Castors. A. F. OLIVA. Dec. 28, 1961 [Dec. 28, 1960; Dec. 2, 1961], No. 46384/61. Class 52 (1). A castor has a hemispherical part 2 with socket 3 for swivel pivot stem 1 and a socket 4 for pin 6 embedded in a hemispherical rolling part 5, the castor being of plastic and part 2 having reinforcing ribs 4<SP>1</SP> and a peripheral rib 8 which engages in a groove 9 in part 5. A rubber tread 10 is embedded in the surface of part 5. A modification, Fig. 4, constitutes a twin castor.
