Abstract
927,840. Filing papers. IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. Jan. 16, 1962, No. 1575/62. Class 146 (1). A device for securing filed papers comprises a strip D of flexible material which is broadened at one end A to contain a hole C of a size such that the other end and the remainder of the strip may pass through it, the strip being capable of passing through holes in papers to be filed and then through the hole C so that the whole can be drawn together. The front end B of the strip is tapered, and the hole C is of such a size that the strip may pass through it only when slight force is applied. The strip may be used in conjunction with a semi-rigid reinforcing piece E provided with several holes through which the strip is threaded. The filing strip, in cross-section, may be rectangular, triangular, oval, round, or square, and may be made from a thermoplastic polymer, particularly polyethylene. The reinforcing piece E may be made from the same material as the strip D.
