[Class 146 (i)] In a paper-binding device of the kind comprising a lace with a crossbar tag at its end, one half b of the tag is formed as an open channel to receive the lace or as a thin projection along which the lace can lie, so as to facilitate the threading of the tag through the papers. The other half a of the tag may be pointed so as to pierce unperforated papers.
