Abstract

926,719. Can carriers. ILLINOIS TOOL WORKS Inc. Jan. 15, 1960 [Jan. 16, 1959], No. 1572/60. Classes 94(1) and 133. A carrier for supporting beaded containers in side by side relationship comprises a sheet of plastic material 10, Fig. 1, having a plurality of parallel slits 12, 16 and 22 so arranged that when the carrier is stretched transversely of the slits the slits open, as in Fig. 2, and containers can then be forced through the resulting apertures 12 to be gripped thereby as in Fig. 3. The apertures 22 can be grasped by the thumb and finger for carrying the resulting package. Specification 914,202 is referred to.
