925,943. Hydraulic turbines; centrifugal pumps. BOHLER & CO. A.G. GEBR. Sept. 20, 1960 [Sept. 21, 1959], No. 32234/60. Classes 110 (1) and 110 (3). A runner for a Francis water turbine or a centrifugal pump comprises blades 4 each cast integrally with a portion 5 of the outer rim extending to the line of intersection of the next following blade with the rim. The end 3 of each blade is inserted into a slot in the conical hub 1 of the runner and welded thereto. The edge 6 of each rim portion 5 is welded to the edge 9 of the adjacent rim portion.
