Abstract

925,375. Slide projectors; focusing devices. KAMERA-UND KINOWERKE DRESDEN VEB. Dec. 2, 1960, No. 41553/60. Classes 97 (1) and 98 (2). To maintain the projection lens of a slide projector at a predetermined distance from the plane of the slide and thus ensure correct focus, the objective lens tube 9 carries a pin 10 and is urged by springs 11, 12 to cause pin 10 to bear against a transparency mounted in a slide frame 4, 5 (Figs. 2 and 3) provided with a bevelled aperture 6 (or 7) for the passage of pin 10 when the slide is in the projection position. If conventional non-apertured slides are used, the pin 10 may be held clear by catch 13 pressing against the lens tube and the objective may be focused by hand.
