Abstract

924,138. Troughs for electric light fittings. ASSOCIATED ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. Aug. 28, 1959 [Sept. 8, 1958], No. 28801/58. Class 75 (2). An extruded trough 1 of light transmitting material is integrally formed during the extrusion process with at least one internal wall 3 projecting from the interior of the trough, a surface of the wall being formed during the extrusion process with prismatic elements 5. The wall may be of cantilever form or extend as shown, between inturned flanges 2 and sides of the trough. One or both faces of the wall may be provided with prisms and prisms may also be formed on the whole or part of the inner or outer surfaces of the trough.
