A bulkhead lamp comprises a body 1 having a wall divided'at each end into spaced outer and inner wall elements 1A, 2, a continuous ridge engageable with an inset resilient gasket 5 in a cover 4 being formed by the upper edges of the inner wall elements 2 and ridges on the inter. mediate portions of the wall, and holes 8, 9 being located between the wall elements 1A, 2 for reception of screws for fixing ,the cover to the body and the body to a bulkhead. The holes 8, 9 are formed in fillets 7 bridging the wall elements.
