919,905. Mineral -mining equipment. HIGHER SPEED METALS Ltd. Sept. 29, 1961 [Dec. 29, 1960], No. 44549/60. Class 68 (1.). A hard cutting tip having a base structure such as described in Specification 885,807 but with modified cutting and back faces is mounted in the leading portion of the head of a forwardly cranked mineral-mining cutter pick. The inwardly and upwardly convergent sides of the lip now merge into a central raised rib 20 of rectangular transverse cross-section extending the length of the cutting and back faces of the lip.
