Abstract

Miticidal compositions comprise p-chloroazoxybenzene, a carrier and a surface active adjuvant composed of a dispersing and/or wetting agent. The compositions may be solid or liquid e.g. dusts or spray-liquids such as aqueous suspensions or dispersions, organic solvent solutions and oil-in-water emulsions. The invention also comprises the method of destroying mites infesting a growing crop by the application thereto of the compositions of the invention or the active compound.
