[Also in Group XXII] A metal mesh or grid for use as a collector mesh for use in direct viewing storage tubes or as an acceleration anode of a post deflection accelerator tube is produced by coating a master mesh 1 with an intermediate layer 2, depositing on the layer a metal layer 3 and subsequently dissolving the intermediate layer to produce the required mesh. The master mesh may be of copper or nickel, the intermediate layer of sodium chloride or potassium iodide and the required grid aluminium (see Group XXII). Specification 481,094 and U.S.A. Specification 2,122,095 are referred to.
