In a boiler equipped with a convectively heated reheater 1, the reheat temperature is maintained at loads below normal load by withdrawing flue gases from the outlet of an induced draught fan 4 by the combustion air blower 3 which also draws cold air through a duct 3a, the blower delivering the mixed air and gases through a preheater 2 to the boiler burners 6.
