Abstract

The burners 4 of an ore-sintering machine are inclined with respect to the ore bed 1, as shown in Fig. 1. Combustible gas and air are supplied to distributers 5, 6 feeding the burners via flanged joints 9, 11 (Fig. 2) allowing limited rotational movement so that the inclination of the burners can be varied.
