A burner of the perforated shell type for vaporized fuel has a plurality of air baffles 4, 5, 6 between the burner (mounted in annular trough 3) and the air beneath it so as to eliminate the effect of external air disturbances. Baffles 12, 13 may also be provided externally of the burner.
