Abstract

914,275. Spray-producers. LAI, C., [trading as WANG ON METAL GOODS MANUFACTURING]. March 28, 1961 [Aug. 3, 1960], No. 26937/60. Class 69 (3). A manually-operated sprayer has a pump barrel 1 within an outer barrel 2, and the chamber 3 therebetween is supplied with compressed air by a piston 4 via a one-way valve comprising an aperture 18, in the wall of the pump barrel, covered by an elastic band 19. The flow of air from an outlet 5 extending from the chamber 3 draws liquid from a container 26 via a tube 28 and sprays it, the outlet being sufficiently small that a pressure is maintained in the chamber during operation and spraying is continuous.
