The invention comprises 1-cyclohexyl-2-methylamino-propane phenyl-ethyl-barbiturate (an anti-epileptic compound); and a process for its preparation by reacting the parent amine with the parent acid or a salt of the parent amine (e.g. the hydrochloride) with the sodium salt of the parent acid.
