A flexible protective casing for articulated joints comprises an oil resistant plastic sleeve 3 having hoses 5 at each end inflatable through valves 6 into oil-sealed engagement with collars or grooves of the articulated parts 1 and 2. The sleeve 3 incorporating a lubricant port 9 and reinforced with inserts 4 of textile or woven wire fabric, has one or more corrugations 7, and end lugs 8 to facilitate removal.
