Abstract

A paint shield has a pair of abutments for <PICT:0911553/III/1> introduction into an intersection between two elements one only of which is to be painted, and a straight edge which in use is spaced away from the intersection providing a guide surface to facilitate painting one surface while preventing painting the other. As shown, an arcuate shield 10 has abutments 18 at each end of straight edge 17 so that the edge is spaced from the intersection into which the abutments are inserted. A rubber suction cup 23, supports 19 and a handle 21 may be provided.
