911,443. Sliding roofs. GOLDE G.m.b.H., H. T., GOLDE, H., and LAFFLER, M., [trading as GOLDE G.m.b.H. & CO. KOMM.-GES., H. T.]. Aug. 25, 1959, No. 29076/59. Class 108(1). The rear edge of a roof panel 22 is raised in the closing position by the rotation of an arm 36 which pivotally connects the roof panel 22 to its rear guiding shoe 58. The panel 22 is moved by the longitudinal movement of the drive cable 40 to which the shoe 58 is secured. The effective, length of the arm 36 may be varied by an adjusting screw 42 which determines the position of the pivot pin 46 in the slot 38 of the arm 36. Initial raising of the panel 22 in the closing position is effected by the ramp 64 and the cam surface 63. Specification 856,560 is referred to.
